"We all need guidance and encouragement on the journey of homeschooling, but the first years are often the toughest. Mentoring will help ease these struggles. A mom new to homeschooling will be matched with a veteran homeschooling mom/family who will offer friendship, advice, wisdom, and prayer. I believe that veteran homeschoolers will also be blessed and encouraged as they share their homeschooling journey and life with another mom. I strongly believe that receiving mentoring in my life has made the difference between giving up and holding fast. I hope that as Mentor Coordinator I can help match new homeschooling moms to veteran homeschoolers who will "encourage one another, and build up one another (1 Thessalonians 5:11)."
