Soccer: Starts September 12th

Reminder... there will be a parents,players, and coaches meeting on Monday
August 29th at 6:30 to sign-up players and assign coaches. It is not to late to
sign-up and no experience is required!

Dear Home School Parents, Back by popular demand we will be having a fall
soccer season that will run from the second Monday in September to the first
Monday in November.

If your interested in more information or signing your family up, please
read the details below.

1. Each family must have at a minimum one parent participate, as either a,
coach, referee, line judge, set-up/clean-up, etc.
________________________________

2. All games and practice would take place at Lake-view
________________________________

3. Practice and Games would be played on Monday’s evenings from 6:00pm until
8:00 (or dark if earlier than 8:00) Make-up days due to rain would be Friday.

4. The first hour would be spent practicing and the second hour we would be
playing.
________________________________

5. We will be playing co-ed, unless the turnout allows for teams to be
separated in Boys and Girls.

a. Age group 4-5
b. Age group 6-9
c. Age group 10-12
d. Age groups 13-up

6. Each player will be required to wear shin guards and provide your own ball

(size varies by age) for each child. (cleats are optional, shin guards are not)

7. Parent/Coach/Referee/Player meeting will take place on August 29 from
6:30-8:00 at the Lake-view Church to assign; teams, coaches, and referees, and
to go over the rules of the game.

8. Season will run from September 12– November 7. This is a total of 10
games.
________________________________

9. The cost will be $15 (1 child), $25 (2 children), $30 (3 children), $35
(4 or more children).
________________________________

10. I need the following from you on or before August 29
a. Name, age, and gender of child wanting to play, and contact numbers for
your family (phone and email)
b. If one or both of the parents will be willing to participate as
i. Coach (need at least 4)
ii. Referee and line judges (need at least 8, 12 would be better)
iii. Set-up and clean-up (need 2-4, this would require you to arrive early
and set-up goals and mark field, and stay after and clean-up)
iv. Drink prep (need 1-2, would require getting water coolers filled).

If you contact me early with your preference I will due my best to give you your
choice. Those that wait until the last minute will be placed as required to
ensure a successful season for the students.
